Skin plays a vital role in our life, how one looks and feels directly correlates to ones skin.

There are four major types of skin.

Normal Skin
Dry Skin
Oily Skin
Combination Skin

Cleansers
First of all you need to know the various alternatives for cleansers. Bar type soaps are the most extreme cleansers however they are also the best for clearing up dirt. Liquid cleansers arrive in various types and tolerability and are fine for all skin types except the oily ones. Pollution, grease and grime cling to the skin, clogging pores; while the body eliminates toxins through perspiration. If the cleansing process is not thoroughly undertaken, the skin will look and feel sluggish, tired and minor skin problems and irritations will transpire.

Toners
Toners make your skin feel fresh, taut and vigorously active. The simplest toner is fresh, pure water! Or even rose water-combined with witch hazel is good for oily skin.

Honey On Skin
Honey applied under a dry dressing every two or thee days promotes rapid healing of ulcers and burns.

Tips For Healthy Skin

Increase your water intake. Drink as much water as possible. A normal adult should take atleast 16 glasses of water everyday. This also helps in avoiding constipation.
Choose whole grain products over refined. Have brown rice instead of white or make your own 50:50 combination.
Mix a tablespoon of rice flour with 2 tablespoons curd. This is an effective cleansing milk which removes stale makeup and cleans open pores. Never apply warm water on your face after the makeup is removed.
Eat an apple daily, without removing skin, as a snack
For any easy fiber boost, sprinkle ground flaxseeds (available at health food stores) on rice, salads, oatmeal, or any other meal. Store flaxseeds in the fridge.
