Wash and clean a bunch of Methi leaves in water. Without adding water, add black pepper, a few drops of lemon and salt to taste and boil. Churn this in a mixer or juicer and drink this concoction. Drinking this regularly will increase hair growth.
Brush your hair regularly before going to bed each night.
Wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Use very little but enough to cover hair completely with lather. Use a conditioner to keep hair manageable.
1 part sulfur powder, 2 parts surgical spirit, 1 part almond oil and 4 parts rose water, or distilled water. Rub on your scalp.
Mix some olive oil and almond oil and massage into your scalp. Leave for 5 minutes then rinse.

Hot air can be damaging to your hair so when using a hair dryer use the cool setting.
Sun exposure will lighten your hair, although very slowly. The acid in lemon juice can help it happen faster. It won't turn dark hair blonde, but it will lighten your hair slightly.
Put some lemon juice on your hair where you want it lighter and go out in the sun. If you have dark brown hair, it probably won't turn blonde but will give you red/auburn highlights. It seems to work best on people who have dirty blonde or light brown hair.
Use it on dirty hair, rather than freshly washed hair. That way the oils in your hair will protect it from the drying effects of lemon juice.

Always hold hair dryer away from your hair. Direct air from the hair dryer down hair shaft and not directly into the roots and keep it moving.
After a perm, never brush your hair. Instead comb hair gently.
Trim your hair once in 7 weeks to avoid split ends.
Avoid pulling back your hair tightly.
Never use a rubber band on your hair as it can pull and damage hair considerably.
Never go out in the sun without having your head covered.
Stimulate circulation by massaging your head with oil to which some vitamin E has been added. This will make hair soft and silky.
Never wash your hair with very hot or very cold water.
Learn to relax. Hair loss can happen because of stress. Eat foods that are rich in vitamin B, C and E.
Add iron and minerals in the natural form in your diet.
If your hair is oily, cut down on fried food and fat. Drink plenty of water.
Eat pieces of coconut or if you get cough because of coconut, have jaggery instead. Also include coconut in your daily food like dals, vegetables, etc.
Half an hour before washing your hair, rub coconut milk onto your scalp. This will also make your hair shinier.
Just as you massage oil, massage raw milk in your hair. Wash off after an hour.
Cashewnuts are very nutritious and good for your skin and also enhance hair growth.
At night before going to sleep, give your hair a hundred strokes with a brush. This increases the blood circulation in the scalp and promotes hair growth. However brush your hair gently for vigorous stroking will cause breakage.
A healthy lifestyle will mean healthier hair for you. Excessive stress, smoking, not exercising and not eating nutritiously are not healthy for your hair.
Get enough sleep.
Avoid using hair styling products with alcohol which dries out hair.
Avoid puting hair styling products directly on your scalp, if you put it on your scalp you'll clog the pores on your head.
Before entering a pool, wet your hair so your hair will soak up the initial water instead of the chlorinated water.
When swimming where a cap to protect your hair from chlorinated water, if you choose not to wear a cap make sure you shampoo and condition your hair right after you are done swimming.
Gently use your fingers or a pick to untangle any knots while your hair is drying.
One of the best ways to control dandruff is to apply a mix of vinegar and water to the scalp.
Apply warm coconut oil on the scalp with a cotton ball. Leave it overnight. Apply the juice of a lemon on the scalp the next morning and wash your hair as usual after 30 minutes.
Apply olive oil to the hair and scalp and leave overnight. This can smother the lice.
Mix 1 teaspoon lime juice and 1 teaspoon garlic, make into a past and apply to hair.
