Vaastu Tips For Your Office

 

The atmosphere in the office can greatly influence work output and an increasing emphasis is being placed on making the modern office as pleasant as it is functional. This is not always easy , given the increasingly smaller work spaces to contend with. In such a set-up , going modular is a great idea. Stylish , color co-ordinated contemporary and both environment friendly and practical modular furniture is here to stay. Most furniture lines come is a range of models, to be selected as per individual requirements and budgets. With multiple work surfaces and storage areas above and below the working levels , space is used very effectively. One can add draw units , cabinets , display panels and pin boards whenever and wherever one needs them.

Proper location of the office in the building
The exteriors of the office like shape, slope, height, water level
The sloping of floors should be towards East, North and North-East, More open space should be left in the East and North side.
Building's height can be equal in all sides, otherwise South and Western sides should not be taller in height as compared to East and North.

Never sit under a beam.

 

Proper placement of Vehicles and other objects outside office
Parking of heavy vehicles like trucks, tractors, trolleys or cranes etc, should be on the roads outside or if it is to be inside, they should be parked in South West zone.
Cycles, scooter, cars, light commercial vehicles can be parked in North West, North or East side of buildings. North East should always be free from any parking of vehicles.
Small lawns with fountains etc (without big trees) can be developed in North East, North and East also. Here only small plants can be grown.
Lawns with big avenue trees can be developed on South and West sides.
Administrative and other office blocks can be constructed in North, East, South or South West keeping the heights of these buildings lower than that of main factory.

 

The direction & placement of the Head of Department Room
Always try to sit in the South West corner of a cabin facing North or East
Never keep the South West corner of the Cabin empty.
Never sit with your back to the door.
Sit facing North or East while working on a computer.
A wall behind the seat gives a feeling of Security.
The chair of the chief executive should be the tallest one in the office. Always use the shortest chairs in the office for the visitors.
Arranging a row of flowers and pots behind the chair is very auspicious.
A room with two doors is not recommended for the head of a commercial organization as the energy entering through one will leave through other.

 

The direction & placement of the employees designation and work wise
Cabins should be designed in any corners but not in the center.
The door of the cabin should be in the direction of the main door.
It is not advisable to have the cabin exactly in front of the main door.
The person sitting on the chair should face the door but not exactly in front of the door.

 

The direction and placement of the stairs
Stair cases should always be provided in South West part of the building.
Stairs should ascend clockwise. Stairs ascending anticlockwise can adversely affect wealth creation of the first floor.

 

The direction & placement of the electronic equipment
Place a computer in the South East or North West corner.
Weigh bridge or weighing machines may be placed in North West or Central East.
Generator, boilers, ovens, oil fired or electric furnaces, switch gears, capacitors, transformers, control panels, smoke chimney etc. all should be located in South East.
Decorative lamps behind the chair are very good for better results for your efforts.

The direction & placement of the temples or worshipping place
A temple (even a small will do) in the North East corner should be built and maintained neat and clean. No material should be stacked here.

 

The direction & placement of the toilets
Toilets may be placed in North West or South East. North East and South West corners should be strictly avoided for this purpose.
Toilets in the administrative building or in other parts of factory or mill should be made in South East or North West area and if septic tank is to be built for that purpose, it should be built in between North and North West or between East and South East.

 

The direction & placement of the water products
Well, bore well, underground reservoir, sink, pools, swimming pools etc. should be located in North-East or Eastern zone, preferably between Mid East and North East.
Overhead water tank may be erected in South West, South or West. Its height should be more than that of buildings height in North East corner.

 

The objects in the room
Place a rising portrait like the one of a mountain or some flying cranes behind the seat. This can bring stability.
